The D.A.R.E
- True Story

To D.A.R.E – To Do: Decide. Act-I-On. Re-View. En-Joy.

It started the day I popped in for a cuppa with a Kiwi legend, a skygod friend, my chief bridesmaid, Chuck Berry — Red Bull extremist, skydiver, BASE jumper, aircraft engineer, gold miner, film-maker. Drastic Measures inclusive of screws in his neck, holding his head on straight, surviving more than a motorbike crash, a full-time force of nature.

Scrawled on his kitchen whiteboard -

                         GO ON - I DARE YOU !

It made my own day feel embarrassingly ordinary — and it lit something up.

That spark became - The D.A.R.E

A brave-learning framework for choosing boldly, acting with heart, reviewing with clarity. Creating Energy with Joy on every journey.

Each fork in that road useful, to take things next level.

Today, D.A.R.E is woven through every Adrenalearn® programme — a practical, energising, create-your-own-reality toolkit.

It also makes for one heck of a key-note. Go on, I D.A.R.E ya !

Lisa Guy

Lisa Guy helps humans grow — in workplaces, communities, and the wild in-between. A key-note speaker you actually want in the room.

On stage, Lisa brings the same adventurous spirit and grounded humanity she's carried through India in Rickshaw and into Council Chambers - a voice that, lands, lifts and lasts.

She’s a strategist, educator and adventurer who’s circumnavigated India in a rickshaw, climbed into the Himalaya on three wheels, and spent a full term in local government, helping steer complex decisions through challenging times. A long-term resident of  Arrowtown, Queenstown Lakes, one of Aotearoa’s fastest-growing districts.

An investment gateway to NZ, a jewel in our tourism crown.

Whether on the road with hubby, Adventure buddy Ed, navigating a path through the chaos of Delhi traffic or braving the equally chaotic world of public meetings, through complex governance and leadership challenges, Lisa brings the same strengths: calm clarity, sharp thinking, and a deep respect for people and the situations we all find ourselves in.

With over two decades in HR leadership, change management and organisational culture, she blends practical experience with a uniquely human touch.

Lisa has experienced greenfield facility openings, supported large-scale restructures, facilitated community education programmes, and helped organisations evolve with courage rather than overwhelm.

Lisa is also the creator of four interconnected pillars:

  • and give them tools that make life and work feel lighter.

A natural connector with a warm, grounded presence, Lisa brings governance experience, community insight, creativity and a spark of adventure to everything she builds.

Her superpower?

Helping people find clarity, confidence and momentum — to cross the finish line, without losing their humanity along the way.
